Since I was little I always wanted to follow in my dad’s footsteps to become a great tattoo artist, hundreds of hours were spent drawing on paper & people whilst growing up, most kids wanted to become footballers or firemen not me!
Finally when I turned 18 my dream came true I finally started my apprenticeship learning to walk before I could run, a lengthy but necessary process lasting 3 years, since then I have improved greatly in a short time thanks to the years of experience passed down to me , this has led to me becoming well established as a top tattoo artist in the surrounding area.
I feel privileged to be in the position I’m in but it hasn’t been without hard work and dedication, every day I look for ways to improve my work and better myself as an artist, I have come far but still have a lot to learn, the important thing is never be complacent, the only person you should try to be better then is your former self.
My favourite part about tattooing is the spark of creation I get when I come against a challenging piece, working through and figuring out obstacles is all part of the learning process but I love the challenge as with each piece you improve as an artist and better your trade, they say if you want to master anything in life it requires at least 10,000 hours of practice, I have a long way to go but with focus, patience and the right mindset anything is possible.
Anyways have a look at our work and be sure to pop up the studio next time you need some fresh ink, just know there’s only one place you need to remember if you want A Fine Tattoo!
Take care people!
